Check Point Software strengthens India’s commitment; opens its second largest global office in Bengaluru

Check Point Software Software Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHKP), a leading provider of cloud-delivered, artificial intelligence-enabled cybersecurity platforms, today announced the opening of its new office in Bengaluru to meet the growing demands of industry customers looking for preventive solutions: first solutions for security in India. With a spacious 42,700 square foot layout and a capacity of over 350 seats, this new office has been carefully designed to ensure protection and productivity. The office is now the company’s second largest office globally, second to its headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel, underscoring Check Point’s significant investment and unwavering commitment to India.

In addition to its impressive dimensions, the new office has been strategically designed to support innovation, collaboration and productivity. It features a customer service center and AI demo zones that serve as interactive platforms where customers can discover and test cutting-edge security solutions tailored to their unique industry requirements. From hands-on demonstrations of advanced threat detection systems to simulated cyber attack scenarios, these spaces enable customers to effectively assess and implement robust security measures. Additionally, the office will provide all Check Point Software services in India, serving customers across the country.

In addition to modern work tools and state-of-the-art connectivity solutions to enhance productivity and showcase the latest security technologies, employees can benefit from a variety of facilities and amenities, including recreational areas, a games room and a cafeteria, making it a hub for both productivity and security.

The cyber security market in India is growing rapidly, driven by the increasing sophistication of cyber threats. According to DSCI, the Indian cyber security market is expected to account for 5% of the global market by 2028. According to Check Point Software’s cyberattack statistics, in the first quarter of 2024, an organization in India was attacked an average of 2,807 times per week, indicating a +YoY change of 33%. This was the second highest result in the APAC region, requiring advanced security solutions. According to Check Point Research, India is witnessing a significant increase in cyberattacks, with weekly attacks increasing by 33% in the first quarter of 2024, outpacing the global increase of 28%. As India progresses in its digital transformation, addressing these security challenges becomes increasingly important.
