The head of sustainable investments at PKA, Dylander, is leaving his position

Devi Dylander left the Danish pension fund PKA after five years as head of sustainable investments and deputy executive director. She will continue to chair Dansif, a position she has held for over three years. Dylander is also a member of the steering group of the Paris-tailored Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change investment initiative and a board member of CFA Society Denmark. Dylander previously held positions at ATP, regulator Finanstilsynet, the Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. When asked about Dylander’s successor, a PKA spokesman said that “the future organization has not been finalized,” but emphasized that the pension fund will continue to have “high ambitions” in the ESG area.

Manjit Jus he started as head of sustainability analytics at UBS. Previously, he was global head of ESG research and data at S&P Global for three years. Jus also spent nine years at Robeco SAM, where he was director of ESG ratings and also led sustainability operations.

Inga Beale was named chairman of South Pole’s board of directors. He will replace Christoph Grobbel, who will step down next month after nine years in office. Beale serves as a non-executive director of WTW, NN Group and Crawford and Company. Previously, she was CEO of Lloyd’s for five years, CEO of Canopius Group for two years and Chief Insurance Officer of Zurich Insurance for four years.

Abrdn was formally appointed Dan Grandage as the new chief sustainability officer following Amanda Young’s departure as asset manager. Grandage joined the company in 2013 as head of sustainability and moved into private markets and real estate, most recently head of sustainable investing.

EFRAG The sustainability reporting team recruits social and human rights reporting specialists to discuss employee rights and due diligence, European Sector Reporting Standards sector program experts, an environmental reporting specialist and a business ethics and related reporting specialist. The deadline for submitting applications is June 24.

She promoted Impax Asset Management Miriam Benarey as head of the client consulting department on sustainable development. She previously served as deputy director of sustainability and governance, and joined the asset manager in 2019. Before Impax AM, Benarey was a senior sustainability consultant at management software and data provider Thinkstep.

Gerrit Held he started as a climate change specialist at the Asian Development Bank. He leaves the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development after more than three years as an associate on climate finance and carbon markets. Previously, he was a climate finance consultant at Green Climate Find in a private sector facility.

The Treasure of Great Britain employs an international advisor on climate and environmental policy. The successful candidate will lead policy development on cross-cutting international climate change and environmental issues, advise senior officials, the Chancellor and Ministers on policy issues, and support input on climate finance topics within the G7 and G20. The deadline for submitting applications is June 3.

LeapFrog Investments has strengthened its climate team with five new appointments. Souleymane Ba he started as co-head of climate investment strategy. He leaves Just Climate, where he was a partner for a year. Ba was a partner at Helios Investment Partners for almost ten years and also held positions at Morgan Stanley and The Carlyle Group.

Separately, Gina DomanigCEO of Emerald Technology Ventures, has been appointed as an independent member of LeapFrog’s climate strategy investment committee. Steve Howardfounder and chairman of the We Mean Business Coalition, Mike Berners-Leefounder and director of Small World Consulting and Damilola Ogunbiyimember of the European Investment Bank’s climate and environment advisory board, joined LeapFrog’s climate advisory board.

Dustyn Lanza was named the inaugural CEO of proxy voting data services provider OxProx. Lanz was previously CEO of the Canadian Association for Responsible Investment and most recently served as a senior advisor at ESG Global Advisors.

ShareAction is looking for a Research Specialist and Senior Research Specialist for the financial sector to work on analysis or voting patterns. La Financière Responsable, the French specialist SRI investment management company majority-owned by the Spanish group MAPFRE, has appointed a new executive chairman. Thierry Chesneau has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, mainly managing sales and business development functions. He was a founding partner of the Olifan Group and also a senior banker, chief quality officer and general secretary for compliance at the Natixis Group. Replaces Olivier Johanet.

Max Hamra he started as a senior analyst in the responsible investment team of Investor Group on Climate Change, where he will focus on management. He joins from Funds SA, where he was a senior responsible investment analyst. He also previously spent over three years at BT, the Westpac Group’s asset management company.

Rowan Buchanan he started as a sustainability manager at Jupiter Asset Management. She leaves Janus Henderson Investors, where she was a senior corporate advisor on sustainability for over two years. She was also a sustainability consultant at Greenstone for two years.

Huma Saif Qazi has been promoted to senior manager for sustainable finance policy at CDP. She joined the organization in 2022 as a Senior Project Officer for Sustainable Finance and was promoted to Manager for Sustainable Finance in 2023. Qazi was previously a UN Department Program Consultant in the Sustainable Finance Division of the Indian Ministry of Finance.

Leah Bennett joined the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute’s Taxonomy Technical Expert Group (TTEG). He replaces First Australians Capital managing partner Benson Saulo, who left TTEG in April. Bennett is a Wiradjuri woman and a consultant for BlackRock’s Reconciliation Action Plan. She is also a member of Westpac’s Indigenous Advisory Committee and a board director of the First Nations Foundation.

Regnan has established a thematic and investment boutique Laura Sheehan as a senior analyst. He leaves Newton Investment Management after more than six years as a global cyclical analyst. Previously she also worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
