Citing the rise of remote and hybrid workers, Walker Edison is expanding its home office

SALT LAKE CITY – Citing the rise of remote workers, e-commerce furniture supplier Walker Edison has introduced a new line of home office furniture.

“With 52% of the workforce adopting a hybrid schedule – working both from home and in-person in a physical office space – Walker Edison has met consumer demand for more home office furniture options,” the company said in a release.

The new line includes four desks and five bookshelves. Each piece has different features, including reed details and waterfall edges. All are made from a combination of warp-resistant MDF and laminate, which the company describes as a durable mix.

Walker Edison’s Holmes collection includes several modular options, allowing buyers to mix and match bookshelves and desks of various sizes. The Chantelle collection focuses on curved lines and expressive elements.

The company did not provide pricing information, but noted that the products are “affordable.” “On a budget, home workers can order trendy pieces like a waterfall desk or an arched bookshelf at a fraction of the price of leading competitors, without sacrificing quality.”

The line includes products for various living spaces, from studio apartments to family residences.

“Each piece is designed to fit other rooms in the home – not just the home office – because home-based employees often work in shared living areas or bedrooms,” the company said.
