“Isaac’s extensive experience advising on the full spectrum of energy-related tax matters adds depth to our outstanding team and will greatly benefit clients across the energy industry,” said Jason Bazar, co-leader of Mayer Brown’s tax and advisory practice.

“Tax planning is one of the most complex and critical elements of implementing renewable energy projects,” added Paul Astolfi, co-leader of Mayer Brown’s global projects and infrastructure practice. “Isaac will make a valuable contribution to our team that is at the forefront of the energy transition movement and continues to strategically expand to meet customer demands in the renewables industry.”

He focuses on renewable energy asset transactions and the monetization of tax credits and other tax incentives, including project development, equity and tax debt financing, joint venture arrangements and mergers and acquisitions.

“Mayer Brown has a world-class renewable energy practice and a sophisticated customer base,” Isaac said. “Since my departure from Mayer Brown at the end of 2022, the renewable energy industry has undergone a profound transformation as a result of the Inflation Control Act. I am excited to rejoin my former colleagues and advise some of the industry’s leading participants in this rapidly evolving market.”
