Walmart and Pawp’s pet telehealth team

Walmart+ Membership Program from Walmart, in partnership with Pawp, is launching a telehealth service for pets that will provide 24/7, free virtual access to veterinarians.

Walmart+ is Walmart’s membership program, costing $98 per year or $12.95 per month, offering digital and in-store benefits such as unlimited free deliveries, gas and travel discounts, early access to promotions and events, Paramount+ streaming, free home returns and not only.

The news comes after the program was piloted as a limited-time offer last year, according to a press release. Thanks to member feedback, this is now fully operational.

Key features include on-demand virtual visits and comprehensive care plans. According to the press release, it will be available later this year.

“We have always been focused on growing Walmart+ in a way that puts our members first. “Seeing how well Pawp was received as a limited-time offer, we knew it was a valuable addition that would enhance the Walmart+ experience,” Venessa Yates, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+, said in the release. “This new benefit illustrates our continued evolution as we strive to provide hassle-free, time-saving and affordable solutions tailored to our members’ needs.”
