Investing.com – Seagate on Friday reported fourth-quarter earnings that topped analyst expectations and revenue topped forecasts.

The company reported earnings per share of $0.86 on revenue of $2.37 billion. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected EPS of $0.84 on revenue of $2.33 billion. This compared to EPS of $1.62 on revenue of $2.84 billion in the same period a year earlier. In the previous quarter, the company saw EPS of $0.83 on revenue of $2.31 billion.

After the report, Seagate shares lost 4.89%, reaching a price of $44.00 in pre-market trading.

On July 18, Microsoft saw fourth-quarter EPS of $1.37 on revenue of $33.72 billion compared to forecasts for EPS of $1.21 on revenue of $32.77 billion.

Apple’s earnings beat analyst expectations on Tuesday, with third-quarter EPS of $2.18 and revenue of $53.81 billion. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of $2.09 on revenue of $53.3 billion
