Mac users are the tech elite: survey

Mac users have turned out to be tech elitists who believe that their devices are far superior to others and immune to virus and malware infections.

Indeed, 91% said their Mac was better than other rivals, and three quarters felt they didn’t need to be deep cleaned as often as other computers.

This is despite the fact that American adults have an average of 708 unread emails and 298 unused applications or folders – which means 41% have a computer that’s running slowly.

The Ukraine-developed app cleans, protects and speeds up Macs with a single button that safely scans every inch of your system and removes gigabytes of junk, large hidden files, old archives, unused apps and malware.

Now, Boston-based MacPaw is encouraging Mac users to watch a feature-length video called “Deep Clean” to show how foolish it is to manually rid their computers of viruses, suspicious old applications, junk files and hundreds of emails.
