The accessory allows you to track your wallet via the Apple Find My app

Tech accessories brand Nomad released another great product today – the tracking card. The tracking card is the Nomad version, extremely slim and battery an accessory that complements Apple’s native Find My app for easy wallet tracking. It has an ultra-slim design and works with Apple’s Find My app, so you’ll never lose control of your wallet. The tracking card can be charged using any Qi or MagSafe compatible wireless charger. Once fully charged, the tracking card has a 5-month battery life and can work in any wallet. The tracking card has a suggested retail price of $40 and is available on the Nomad website.

How to charge a tracking card? How do I know it’s fully charged?

To charge your tracking card, simply place it on any Qi or MagSafe charger. Once the card is fully charged, the small round light in the upper right corner will turn green. To check your tracking card percentage, go to your device in the Find My app.

Once charged, it will last in your wallet for a full 5 months. Batteries reduce the amount of waste and save time and energy associated with purchasing new batteries.

Will it demagnetize my credit cards?

The tracking card has no magnets and does not demagnetize or otherwise affect your credit cards. Although the tracking card does not come with a MagSafe magnet array, it does have enough metal that it can be connected to MagSafe chargers and receive a charge.
