IRVINE, California, May 28, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Getac today announced the launch of the all-new AI-enabled S510 rugged laptop, enabling organizations across industries such as utilities, public safety, manufacturing, automotive and defense to benefit from the power of edge AI on a daily basis.

The new S510 enables workers to take advantage of the significant productivity benefits of AI-powered applications. Intel® CoreTM The Ultra 5/7 processor with Intel® AI Boost Technology and Intel® Graphics puts powerful performance at your fingertips, while a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key quickly activates AI capabilities whenever needed.

The S510 combines this innovative feature set with MIL-STD-810H and IP53 certifications, as well as 0.9 m (3 ft) drop and vibration resistance, giving users the peace of mind they need to work with confidence. The S510 also has a 15.6-inch display with a brightness of 1000 nits and Getac Sunlight readable technology for optimal versatility in a variety of lighting conditions. Additionally, the device offers reliable connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 as standard, while optional 4G-LTE and 5G Sub-6 capabilities keep users connected.

Despite its large screen and durability, the S510 weighs just 2.35 kg (5.18 lb), making it easy to carry, and its hot-swappable battery allows you to work a full shift. It also embodies its sustainable design Getac commitment to environmental responsibility, and much of its chassis consists of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials.

The S510 can be configured to suit individual customer needs with options including dual Thunderbolt 4 ports for faster data transfers, up to 64GB of DDR5 memory (8GB standard), and up to 2TB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage (256GB standard). Further options include a laser barcode reader, a Super Multi DVD drive, a second drive and/or an NVIDIA graphics processor.
