Contrail names Ben Jacques as vice president of marketing and acquisitions

Verona, Wisconsin – May 16, 2024 – Contrail Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Jacques as Vice President of Marketing and Acquisitions. Ben has been in the aviation industry for over 20 years and brings extensive experience in aircraft, engine and leasing trading to the role.

Together with Mark Shaw, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Commercial, Ben will focus on the acquisition of end-of-life CFM56-5B, 7B and V2500 engines and/or A320/B737NG family parent aircraft from the lessor, commercial and financial community as well as selected airlines aviation.

Ben was previously Chief Marketing Officer for 9 years at WNG Capital LLC, where he was responsible for tenant relations and aircraft trading, primarily managing key accounts in Europe, North America and Asia. Prior to joining WNG, Ben was a Leasing Specialist and Group Quality Manager at Air Partner from 2007 to 2010. Ben also spent 4 years as Commercial Director at IBA, an internationally renowned aviation consulting and valuation company.
