Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath reflected on the importance of attention and its scarcity in today’s fast-changing world. Nikhil Kamath revealed the number of activities that took place in one minute – 416 lakh messages, 63 lakh Google searches and 2,410 lakh emails sent. Offering a solution to this problem, Nikhil Kamath suggested, “I am manipulated by this as much as any other guy/girl. Let’s take back some control. There are no devices on the last Sunday of every month? Instead, let us experience the manipulation of our physical proximity.”

Users reacted to the post with one comment: “Let’s absolutely take back our time and rediscover the magic of the present moment!”

Another noted: “Absolutely, let’s break free from the digital leash and reconnect with our real environment. One device-free Sunday a month can be the reset we all need. Who’s in?”

Earlier, Nikhil Kamath shared his insights on the Indian wedding industry and revealed that the country could witness a surge in the number of weddings in the coming years. He went on to say, “With such a fragmented industry, I can’t think of 5 dominant brands in this space that engage in any form of collaborative thinking. Everyone is focused on the IN industry now, regardless of the mood of the season. Traditionally uncool industries can hold enormous opportunities.”
