Today, Branicks Group AG (Branicks) announces the launch of its inaugural revolving fund, “Branicks Renewable Energy Fund SCS SICAV-RAIF”. This initiative represents the first tangible result of Branicks’ collaboration with Encavis Asset Management AG (Encavis AM), founded in April 2024, to create an independent “Renewable Energy” asset class. Encavis AM’s extensive experience as an independent asset manager and advisor in solar and wind energy complements Branicks’ expertise in structuring investment vehicles.

Sonja Wärntges, CEO of Branicks Group AG, highlights the importance of this move, stating: “With our first renewable energy fund, we are initiating the development of our new asset class – Renewables.” It highlights the growing demand for electricity and the need to produce it in a CO2-free manner, presenting promising opportunities for return and value growth.

This expansion in the renewable asset class is consistent with Branicks’ commitment to sustainability, an area in which the company is a pioneer in the real estate sector. In particular, Branicks aims to increase value and profits through sustainable practices, such as improving its green building index, which was 43.6% by the end of 2023.
