High revenues from the public sale of Gina Lollobrigida’s real estate

Following the death of Italian film diva Gina Lollobrigida, memorabilia are currently being auctioned in Genoa. On the first day of the two-day public sale, a huge amount of cash was introduced.

Italian cinema legend Gina Lollobrigida lived a wonderful life full of pomp and splendor. Now most of his wealth has been auctioned in Genoa. The sale takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday and includes over 700 of the late actor’s merchandise over the past 12 months.

The diva’s jewelry is at the center of the public sale, as well as pearl necklaces studded with rubies and diamonds, emerald-studded bracelets and gold-plated coral earrings. However, in addition, there may be a seemingly invisible wristwatch, which seems extremely fascinating because of the inscription: “Courtesy of Gina. Fidel Castro.” The Cuban revolutionary leader was a great admirer of the actor and gave him this Seiko quartz watch.

In addition to jewelry and a watch, various private gadgets were also auctioned, including: the digital camera that Lollobrigida used to take photos and the swords from the movie “The Most Beautiful Woman in the World”. The property also provides works of art, including Russian icons and sculptures of Tibetan deities, as well as many furnishings. In total, approximately 400 gadgets provided by Wannenes Aktion Auction will be available on Tuesday at the company’s headquarters in Genoa at Villa Carrega Cataldi in Albaro.

Italian media reported that the first day of public sale had already brought solid profits. Some nice photos were already on public sale yesterday and may continue as we speak.

At the second moment, it is unclear what exactly will happen to this cash. Italian media say the public sale is intended to repay the late film. The remaining cash will be split between Lollobrigida’s son, Milko Skofic, and her longtime assistant Andrea Piazzolla.

The two heirs have been enemies for several years. Their dispute went to court. In November last year, Piazzolla was sentenced by a final court judgment to 3 years in prison for allegedly using the position of an actress almost sixty years older than him to illegally acquire property.
