EID Parry(India) Ltd. (up 8.29%), KM Sugar Mills Ltd. (up 4.46%), Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd. (up 3.18%), KCP Sugar & Industries Corporation Ltd. (up 1.75%), DCM Shriram Industries Ltd. (up 0.91%), Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. (up 0.71%), Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd. (up 0.61%) , Mawana Sugars Ltd. (up 0.61%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar and Industries Ltd. (up 0.56%) Among the top gainers were Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd. (up 0.19%).

Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd. (down 1.60%), Bannari Amman Sugars Ltd. (down 1.18%), Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd. (down 1.15%), Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd. (down 1.03%), Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd. (down 0.91%), Ugar Sugar Works Ltd. (down 0.90%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. (down 0.84%), Magadh Sugar & Energy Ltd. (down 0.66%), Kothari Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. (down 0.64%) and Avadh Sugar & Energy Ltd. (down 0.39%) were among the top losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended the session down 183.46 points at 22,704.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex ended down 667.55 points at 74,502.9.

(up 0.96%), Cipla Ltd. (up 0.96%), Bajaj Auto Ltd. (up 0.9%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd . (increase by 0.68%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 0.6%) and ITC Ltd. (up 0.46%) were among the Nifty top gainers. While HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 2.87%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 2.62%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.
