MLC Promotes BLAKE DELL TO VICE PRESIDENT FOR CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT, STRATEGY AND OPERATIONS IN THE UK

Dell will lead Singleton Birch as CEO Richard Stansfield retires

ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 29, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — MLC (formerly Mississippi Lime Company) appointed Blake Dell as Vice President of Corporate Development, Strategy and Operations in the UK. This is a new position created to escalate the company’s geographic and market expansion. She is part of the MLC executive leadership team.

Dell will be responsible for leading strategic planning, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and partnerships across all MLC businesses, including Singleton Birch in the region United Kingdom. He will also be the executive director of Singleton Birch, as Richard Stansfieldcurrent CEO Singleton Birch will retire in June after 35 years with the company.

Dell has nearly two decades of experience in strategy, development, planning and mergers and acquisitions. During his 13 years at MLC, he held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of finance, sales and marketing, and company development. This includes leading the recent acquisitions of Singleton Birch (Melton Ross, UK), Valley Minerals (Bonne Terre, MO) and southern lime (Calera, AL). These acquisitions have played a key role in MLC’s strategic vision. For example, they have enabled the company to expand its lime solutions portfolio, supply products to more markets and improve customer service. Dell’s prior experience also includes positions in the private equity and M&A advisory sectors.
