He takes over the role from Ken Smith, who now takes up the role of Vice President Sustainability and Safety in the Operational Group for Southern and Western Europe.

Giros said about his new appointment: “I’m delighted to be taking on this new role as UK CEO.

“In a rapidly changing world that forces organizations to adapt their models, I strongly believe that Bureau Veritas has a key role to play. Building on the diversity of our portfolio and strong foundations in the UK will benefit all our clients on their transformation journey, as well as all our stakeholders.

“Together with the UK team, I feel happy and proud to contribute to this positive change and I am confident that together we will achieve great successes.”
