Eurocamp in Croatia, takeover of Tour Operator

European Camping Group is expanding in Croatia and France, acquiring Standard and properties, increasing Eurocamp’s portfolio due to increasing visitor numbers.

Eurocamp owner European Camping Group (ECG) expanded its presence in Croatia by acquiring a tour operator, Standardafter the country saw a record number of visitors in 2023.

This trend will continue in 2024, when in Croatia the number of holiday bookings made by UK customers increased by over 40% year-on-year. As part of the agreement, Eurocamp adds 180 new holiday homes in 4 holiday resorts to its catalog, increasing its capacity in cooperation with existing partners Lanterna Premium Camping Resort, Park Umag and Brioni Sunny Camping on the Istrian coast, as well as the Kastanija campsite in Novigrad – a new addition to their portfolio for 2024.

The acquisitions are part of ECG’s dynamic development strategy, which assumes increasing the number of parks to over 400 in 11 European countries.

In addition to its expansion in Croatia, following the acquisition of the 4-star hotel Eurocamp has expanded its offer in Vendée, France Sol A Gogo campsite.

With a view of the Atlantic Ocean and direct access to the beach, it covers an area of ​​3.5 hectares and offers 191 pitches. A family campsite offering the highest quality facilities and services, it will be integrated under the Marvilla Parks brand for the 2025 season. This acquisition strengthens Eurocamp’s presence in one of the most popular camping destinations in France, which serves an international clientele including visitors from the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
