Official launch of MediaTek Dimensity 7300 and 7300X chipsets; Check out the features and specifications

MediaTek today officially unveiled two new high-tech mobile gaming chipsets – MediaTek Dimensity 7300 and 7300X. These chipsets enable multitasking, great photo-accelerated gaming, AI-powered processing, and much more. Let’s learn more about these chipsets.

MediaTek Dimensity 7300: Features

The chipset is built in an ultra-efficient 4 nm technological process, which includes four Arm Cortex-A78 cores and four Arm Cortex-A55 cores. It supports the Arm Mali-G615 GPU and offers 20% better energy efficiency. Boosts AI task performance with MediaTek 6vol APU 655 generation. The chipset supports WFHD+ displays with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, 10-bit color depth and Global HDR standards.

It supports up to 200MP main camera and camera features such as hardware face detection, hardware MCNR, 4K HDR video, AI-3A with AE, AWB, AF, EIS video, dual simultaneous video capture and all-pixel AF. It offers 30% faster live focusing and 50% faster photo remastering than the previous generation Dimensity platform. Supported Connectivity Options – 5G downlink speeds up to 3.27Gbps with advanced 3CC-CA, MediaTek 5G Ultrasave 3.0+, Dual SIM 5G with Dual VoNR, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, MediaTek Lightning Connect and technology MediaTek UAC 2.0 antenna optimization. The chipset supports LPDDR4x/LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1.

MediaTek Dimensity 7300X: Features

This chipset is also built on a 4nm process and comes with four Arm Cortex A78 cores and four Arm Cortex A55 cores. It supports Arm Mali G615 MC2 GPU and MediaTek APU 655 to enhance the performance of AI tasks. This chipset supports dual-display smartphones, which means we’ll see it in foldable devices in the future. It supports a WFHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, 10 but true colors and global HDR standards.

The chipset also supports a main camera with a resolution of up to 200MP, and supported camera features include: hardware face detection, hardware MCNR, 4K HDR video, AI-3A with AE, AWB, AF, EIS video, dual simultaneous video capture, and all-pixel AF. It offers 30% faster live focusing and 50% faster photo remastering than the previous generation Dimensity platform.

Supported Connectivity Options – 5G download speeds up to 3.27Gbps with advanced 3CC-CA, MediaTek 5G Ultrasave 3.0+, dual-SIM 5G with dual VoNR, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, MediaTek Lightning connect and MediaTek antenna optimization technology UAC 2.0. This chipset will also support LPDDR4x/LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1.

According to reports, the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and the rest may also join the list soon.
