Rhea launches with senior advisory panel, growth acquisitions and strategic partnerships to support the fertility journey for the modern family

The launch coincides with another round of financing led by Thiel Capital to expand its global footprint

Singapore–(ANTARA/Business Wire)– Rhea, a global reproductive health services company focused on improving fertility for the modern family, today announced its official launch. Rhea is the first comprehensive reproductive health ecosystem, connecting future families in Asia with complementary sites in North America and Europe to provide a high standard of comprehensive care in all geographic locations.
The Rhea service ecosystem is centered around a global network of own and partner clinics. This ecosystem is powered by Rhea Labs, an integrated technology platform that leverages data, accelerates time-to-market and high-quality product feedback loops to improve patient outcomes. The company’s fertility services are delivered through Rhea’s patient journey management tools and its Generation Prime clinic network, which has formally changed its name to GenPrime.

The company announced another round led by returning investor Thiela Capital, with participation from funds such as LifeX Ventures, Blue Lion Global and FJ Labs. The additional funds will be used to expand Rhea’s reach and service offerings into new markets.

In parallel with the new financing, Rhea announced the acquisition of Embryonics, a company that uses a suite of innovative artificial intelligence technologies to improve the process and outcomes of infertility treatment. The Embryonics team and its AI diagnostic tools have been integrated into Rhea Labs, using data-driven science to refine Rhea’s product roadmap. Rhea Labs is also building RheaX, a global gamete exchange platform, providing first-class solutions to streamline the gamete matching and transfer process. The exchange will be developed through Rhea’s joint venture with Baylor College of Medicine, a health sciences university located at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. Rhea is also working closely with Baylor to launch a joint award for reproductive health research this fall.

To support its development, Rhea formally established its senior advisory panel, which included:

• Dr. Milton Leong, pioneer of in vitro fertilization in Hong Kong and founding president of the Hong Kong Society of Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Leong was responsible for the first IVF baby in Hong Kong in 1985. He has been a specialist in reproductive medicine for over 30 years and is the co-founder of IVF Worldwide;
