HP Poly introduces next-generation AV solutions to enhance hybrid work

HP Poly unveiled a series of next-generation AV solutions that improve the quality of hybrid work.

The Poly Studio G9 Plus and Poly Studio G62 Basic Kit are two eye-catching new additions; the first is a room solution consisting of various devices, including controllers and AV equipment, the second is a modular videoconferencing system.

Poly Studio G9 Plus Entry Kit, designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms, is a next-generation solution co-developed by HP and Poly. Includes the new HP Mini IP PC G9 and Poly TC10 controller connected via Power over Ethernet (PoE). This integration combines Poly’s collaborative experience with HP’s high-performance computing solutions. The basic kit can be paired with compatible Poly cameras and peripherals to suit a variety of meeting room needs.

Select Poly devices, such as the Poly Studio V52 Video Bar, can be connected to an HP Mini IP PC to enable Poly AI-powered audio and video features such as the Poly DirectorAI circuit, NoiseBlockAI, and audio reflection reduction. These innovations improve the quality of meetings by ensuring that participants are clearly seen and heard, without background noise.

The Poly Studio G62 modular video conferencing system is ideal for large and flexible spaces. Its modular design integrates with peripherals such as cameras, microphones and controllers for conference rooms, classrooms and flexible spaces.

Expandable with multiple cameras and microphones, Poly Studio G62 ensures clear communication during large meetings. Sustainability is key as the system is made from 80% post-consumer recycled plastics and 20% recycled metals. Setup is easy with flexible mounting options. Certified for Microsoft Teams, also pending certification for Zoom and Tencent.

The Poly Studio G9 Plus Entry Kit for Microsoft Teams Rooms will be available in June 2024 for $2,699. The Poly Studio G62 modular video conferencing system will also be available in June 2024 for $1,999.

Better control with Poly VideoOS and extensive software management and analytics

The upcoming Poly VideoOS 4.3 software release will enable the Poly TC8 or TC10 to function as advanced room controllers. When paired with the Poly Studio

This web-based feature provides greater flexibility by allowing customers to configure controls to enhance their in-room experience.

Additionally, Poly Lens supports Poly Studio G62 and Poly Studio Base Kit G9 Plus, enabling IT teams to remotely manage Poly devices from a single dashboard. Poly Lens now also integrates with Zoom Device Management (ZDM) to provide detailed room health, improving performance, data visibility and troubleshooting for native Zoom Rooms, all accessible through the Poly Lens portal.

Poly VideoOS 4.3 is scheduled for release in June 2024. Poly Lens support for managing Zoom devices is now available. Additionally, the Poly Voyager Free 20 wireless earbuds, unveiled earlier this year at CES, will be available globally in mid-June.

HP certifies new Poly terminals through Enreach for service providers

Last month, HP announced Enreach certification of new Poly terminals for service providers.

As a result of the growing partnership between HP and Enreach, the Poly Edge E Series has been certified and integrated into the Enreach UP platform. Designed for hybrid and flexible work environments, the certified Poly range of phones is now available through HP’s extensive network of integrator, reseller and carrier partners.
