UBS Names New Head and Co-President of Global Wealth Management in the Americas

As part of a management shake-up, UBS has appointed a new head of the Americas region.

The Swiss group announced on Thursday that Rob Karofsky (pictured), president of investment bank UBS, will take over as head of the Americas on July 1. Karofsky will also become co-president of Global Wealth Management (GWM), alongside current division leader Iqbal Khan.

Khan, who has been UBS’s sole global GMW president since October 2022, is also moving from Switzerland to Asia to lead the group’s Asia-Pacific division.
