HRL Earnings: Hormel Quarterly Financial Results Highlights for Q2 2024

Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) today released its second quarter 2024 results.

Net sales fell 3% year-over-year to $2.89 billion.

Net income attributable to Hormel Foods Corporation was $189.2 million, or $0.34 per share, compared to $217.2 million, or $0.40 per share, in the prior year. Adjusted EPS was $0.38.

Profits exceeded estimates and revenues were lower.

For fiscal 2024, the company expects net sales of $12.2 billion to $12.5 billion and adjusted EPS of $1.55 to $1.65.

On Thursday, during pre-market hours, the company’s shares gained over 1%.
