The Cyberpunk device is actually a functional 4-in-1 charger for Apple devices – Yanko Design

There are many wireless chargers on the market today, and many of them are designed for iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods. And like the Apple devices they support, most of them have designs that try to match the minimalist aesthetic of Apple products. There is no doubt that they are attractive and even beautiful, but sometimes the uniformity of the design can be a bit boring and unsatisfying. There’s always room for variety, and fortunately, some accessory manufacturers actually take up this challenge without going overboard. For example, this design still maintains a clean look, even with a more cyberpunk or sci-fi feel that adds a new flavor to the typical charging pad.

Designer: Aulumu

These days, it’s common for Apple-compatible wireless chargers to support all three devices. After all, it’s highly likely that an iPhone owner would have two other accessories on them and want to charge all three at the same time. The conventional design includes either a flat surface for these devices or one raised and tilted platform so that the iPhone can charge at a more useful angle. Aulumu M01 4-in-1 wireless charging station, foldable, supports both modes, but that’s not the most interesting thing about it.

What makes it unique is its style, especially the cyberpunk aesthetic it adopts. Instead of a simple row of circles for the wireless charging contacts, their arrangement changes to create a more visually interesting composition. The colors are also alternating, with a white Apple Watch pad surrounded by black circles on the iPhone and AirPods cases. It has the typical lines, text and visible screws found in this tech-focused design language, clearly separating it from other wireless chargers.

Another interesting and unusual detail is the LED light encased in what looks like a miniature vacuum tube light bulb. It works as a desk lamp with three different brightness levels, although not bright enough to be the only light source. It gives the charging station a retrofuturistic look often found in cyberpunk designs.

In terms of functionality, Aulumu M01 even goes beyond a typical 3-in-1 charger, also supporting iPad, although it must be connected via a USB-C cable. The cyberpunk design certainly won’t suit everyone, but it provides a breath of fresh air for those who are tired of seeing minimalist designs everywhere they turn.
