View Media Group has announced several key appointments for its team.

The Executive Chairman of View Media Group today announced a number of exciting appointments at View Media Group as its growth trajectory continues.

Catalano said: “I am delighted to announce a number of significant new appointments at View Media Group.”

“Our partnership with ANZ Bank is a key differentiator of our business strategy and gives us the opportunity to make a serious play in the financial services space, and the changes announced today position the company to maximize these opportunities and future growth.”

“Building the supermarket of the future in the real estate market is a central element of our business plan, and the largest category in it is financial services.”

Sian Rowlands will take on a new role as Chief Executive Officer, Financial Services, to oversee VMG’s partnership with ANZ and develop our brokerage offering, ensuring clients have access to the best and easiest financial services support.

Pre-approving potential buyers and providing specialist financial services support to existing mortgage holders is at the heart of VMG’s vision to offer consumers a truly different and compelling alternative as we work with them throughout their property journey.

Sian has been part of the VMG strategy team for the last 12 months and has made a valuable contribution to VMG’s growth through our acquisitions and strategy planning.

Prior to joining VMG, Sian worked at Domain as Director of Commercial Strategy, Planning and Development. She then joined Different, a growing property management technology company, to support the company’s growth strategy.

Damon Pezaro will oversee strategy and product development for the group as chief product officer.

Damon was a key growth driver at Domain, leading the company’s product development division, which under his leadership became the leading real estate application in the country. Damon’s prediction and understanding of current and future consumer behavior is unparalleled.

Since leaving Domain in 2017, Damon has worked at a number of local and international high-growth companies as Chief Product Officer. Damon has further strengthened his experience with an ongoing role as a non-executive director in several successful start-ups.

Jordy Catalano will transition from his role as Chief Product Officer, which he has held since the public launch late last year, to the exciting new position of Director of Consumer Services and Markets.

As CPO at VMG, Jordy introduced a number of critically important changes and product improvements that significantly grew View.com.au’s audience and solidified View’s position as the No. 3 portal with viewership reaching 2 million per month.

Jordy’s new role leverages the skills he demonstrated as co-founder of AD-Group, where he created products and partnerships that leveraged many aspects of the marketplace beyond the plan.

This role will focus on consumers first, building a deep understanding of our users and delivering unrivaled service across all locations to ensure a seamless consumer experience as we simplify all aspects of real estate.

Barrie Bowles has been appointed director of digital and data solutions at View Media Group and will lead the group’s digital and data strategy.

Barrie joins from his role as digital solutions leader at real estate media and technology agency The Today Business to director of digital and data solutions at View Media Group, where his 20 years of experience in media, marketing, data and advertising/related technology with real estate will provide you with the appropriate experience to achieve success.

The newly created role focuses on increasing the number of recipients of existing assets and maximizing digital and data capabilities and opportunities for VMG companies, partners and clients. Barrie will continue to work on product development from a digital advertising and data targeting perspective, particularly for agent and supplier products, and will drive innovation, timing and commercial opportunities for VMG and its partners.

Barrie will also continue to work with The Today Business, supporting clients on digital strategy and performance.

Emily Rayner will lead content at VMG, with an initial focus on view.com.au’s content strategy as chief content officer.

Emily is a seasoned digital content professional with over two decades of experience in media production and content management, driving audience engagement and brand growth across multiple platforms.

Emily’s impressive career includes key roles at major international and national broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV, Southern Cross Austereo and Nova, where she pioneered digital content and social strategies that significantly increased audience engagement. Emily also played a key role in developing Domain’s content strategy and served as Executive Editor at Domain Group, overseeing Domain Prestige, Commercial Property and Domain Weekly Review until 2018.
