Prime Minister: Manny Pacquiao’s presence will help strengthen the sports and tourism sector in Cambodia (VIDEO)

Dr. Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, spoke very positively about Manny Pacquiao’s presence in the Kingdom. Pacquiao is a renowned world-class boxer and former senator of the Philippines.

A sense of mutual respect was palpable during the January 7 meeting at the Palace as Hun Manet warmly welcomed Pacquiao’s second visit to Cambodia.

Mr. Pacquiao’s presence is not just a visit, but a potential catalyst for the promotion of Cambodia’s sports and tourism sector and the development of Cambodia-Philippines relations through people-to-people contacts, the Cambodian Prime Minister stressed.



For his part, Pacquiao said that during his stay in Cambodia, he will meet and talk about the spirit of boxing with famous Cambodian boxers and share his boxing experiences.

Pacquiao visited Cambodia in 2016 when he accompanied then-President of the Republic of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte on a state visit to Cambodia. ACP
