United Renewables CEO Chris Caldwell – panel discussion at the Green Vision Summit

DOUGLAS, Isle of Man, May 31, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Green Vision Summit & Expo (GVSE) 2024, held in Malta this year, brought together an exceptional group of speakers, exhibitors and workshop leaders who shared invaluable insights and practical solutions to today’s most pressing environmental challenges.

GVSE 2024 featured keynotes and expert-led workshops from specialists from a variety of fields, including academics, students, green finance, sustainable healthcare innovators, green city innovators, renewable energy developers, sustainable transportation solutions providers, and many others. These sessions exposed participants to the latest innovations and best practices aimed at resource recovery and sustainability.

“We are extremely pleased with the results we achieved at GVSE 2024,” said Chris Caldwell, CEO of United Renewables. “This event united world leaders to share their expertise on sustainability and environmental activism. The wealth of information and resources provided will enable participants to take action and contribute to achieving net zero by 2050.”

A highlight was the focus on youth engagement. Over 60 children aged 9-13 took part in workshops led by Ootiboo, which used creative storytelling and problem-solving to raise the next generation of environmental stewards.

“The future of our planet depends on the actions of younger generations, and it is critical that we support them in developing the skills and knowledge needed to lead the way in sustainable development,” Caldwell noted. “Our goal is to support initiatives that cultivate ecological leadership among youth. The children’s workshops at GVSE were a testament to this commitment and we are proud to have contributed to their success.”

“The summit was a valuable source of broader engagement, and key sessions were recorded and will soon be available on the Climate Talks podcast,” Caldwell said. “Through this initiative, the insights and strategies discussed by distinguished speakers such as Marc Buckley, Hjörtur Smárason and Evelyne Freitag will reach a wider audience. These recordings enrich ongoing global discussions on practical and innovative solutions to climate change, helping to spread best practices and inspire action across sectors and communities. We are grateful to Sabrina and the GSE Technologies team for allowing us to film.”
