Hotpack supports self-sufficiency in the packaging sector

Make in the UAE aims to promote the idea of self-sufficiency and economic diversification in the country. This is the government’s call to action for businesses, encouraging them to play a direct role in driving the UAE’s economic growth by developing and manufacturing products within the country’s borders.

By achieving this goal, Hotpack Global has consolidated its position as the largest manufacturer of packaging products in the region. Abdul Jebbar PB, Group Managing Director of Hotpack Global, highlights Hotpack’s commitment to the Make in the UAE initiative.

“With almost 30 years of presence in the market, we strongly believe in the UAE’s potential to become a global leader in manufacturing and innovation. By localizing our operations and investing in the latest technologies and sustainable production processes, this initiative not only enables us to meet domestic demand for high-quality products, but also positions the UAE as a global hub for packaging solutions, without compromising on sustainability,” says Jebbar.

The company has 13 advanced manufacturing facilities in the UAE that produce a broad product portfolio of over 4,000 items, serving a variety of industries including consumer packaged goods, food, retail, hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

Highlighting Hotpack’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing processes, Jebbar continues: “We emphasize eco-friendly and sustainable alternatives, from paper and aluminum to plastics, which is in line with the UAE’s vision for a greener future. An example of our sustainability-oriented production is our newest and largest facility in the National Industries Park (NIP).”

As we continue to grow and expand our business, Hotpack remains committed to setting new standards in the global packaging industry. With a focus on progressive and sustainable growth, Hotpack exemplifies the spirit of innovation and excellence that defines the Make it in the UAE initiative, driving economic prosperity and industrial progress in the country.
