Scurri acquires HelloDone to enhance after-sales service capabilities for e-com retailers

Delivery management platform Scurri, which optimizes the online ordering and delivery process for online retailers, has acquired AI platform HelloDone to expand its after-sales capabilities for e-commerce retailers and brands.

HelloDone provides conversational AI solutions and responds to customer post-purchase inquiries via digital communication channels including WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger.

It enables retailers to automate responses to customer queries via AI-powered chat, “offering efficient and immediate resolution of customer needs at scale” to deliver better delivery and customer service experiences.

HelloDone’s solution “definitely complements” Scurri’s offering and will enhance existing carrier management and after-sales solutions already available to leading e-commerce brands and retailers.
As a result of the acquisition, the HelloDone team will join Scurri, adding a wealth of artificial intelligence expertise to Scurri’s existing products and engineering capabilities to accelerate product innovation. Scurri will also acquire all technology, trademarks, intellectual property and customers.

Rory O’Connor, founder and CEO of Scurri, said: “Scurri’s acquisition of HelloDone demonstrates our commitment and ambition to accelerate our customers’ growth by enabling them to be at the forefront of the artificial intelligence revolution that is rapidly transforming the retail industry.

“HelloDone’s technology offering greatly complements our offering and will enable us to unlock new opportunities and give our customers even greater control over the most fundamental pillars of their business – delivery.”

Ed Hodges, Founder and CEO of HelloDone, commented: “HelloDone’s services work perfectly with Scurri’s services and we are excited to combine our combined knowledge, experience and technology to provide a distinct competitive advantage in a fully integrated delivery and mailing solution. -purchasing service provider.”

Scurri is an Irish company that has raised over £12.8 million (€15.3 million) to date, following a £7.6 million (€9 million) investment to accelerate growth in European markets in 2021.

Fueled by the growth of online shopping in the UK and Ireland, the company opened offices in London, and Scurri’s technology now powers over 100 million parcel deliveries annually for e-commerce sellers.

Last year, the company launched its after-sales solution, Scurri Track Plus, which enables retailers and brands to take responsibility for post-sales communications and provide brand delivery updates. The acquisition of HelloDone will make post-sales communication even more effective.
