SPIE focuses on cable support services for offshore wind energy

CERGY, France – SPIE Global Services Energy, an international subsidiary of the SPIE Group, has established a new wind energy division following its recent acquisition of offshore wind specialist Correll Group.

The company is developing the service of terminating power lines and managing undersea high-voltage links to connect wind farms.

Correll will also enable geographic expansion to the U.S. East Coast.

SPIE’s goal is to provide offshore wind services both in this region and in the North Sea and Asia-Pacific region.
