Marsh McLennan Agency announces acquisition of Perkins Insurance Agencies

Marsh McLennan Agency, a subsidiary of Marsh, has acquired Perkins Insurance Agages, an independent agency based in Abilene, Texas.

Founded in 1977, Perkins provides property and casualty (P&C) and personal insurance to nonprofits and families based in West Texas, specializing in the oil and gas, trucking, farm and ranch, and restaurant industries.

It has been confirmed that all Perkins employees, including Mark Perkins, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will continue to work from their existing offices in Abilene and Eastland, Texas.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, Marsh Agency McLennan recently acquired AC Risk Management (ACRM), an independent commercial lines brokerage firm based in Melville, New York.
