Deputy Creative Director – Norway – AAA

” Ref – 5330388. We have the incredible opportunity to work in close collaboration with the CCO and Creative Director on an amazing AAA project. Deputy creative director you will lead the team through the implementation of a creative vision, supporting a culture of creative commitment and excellence in execution. You will play a key role in ensuring that all production teams share a unified vision of the overall game experience, aligning development decisions with the core game vision to bring the desired player experience to life.

Post-launch, you’ll be an integral part of the live team, actively shaping the creative direction of the game in collaboration with players, all while maintaining intellectual property standards and supporting the game’s development and expansion.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Minimum 10 years of experience developing live multiplayer games.

• Over 3 years of experience in managing AAA scale projects.

• Extensive experience with various game engines (e.g. Unreal) and productivity and management software (e.g. Excel and Jira).

• Naturally open way of thinking and collaborating.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Duties:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and execute the overall project vision.

• Work closely with cross-functional executives and senior management to consolidate ideas into a comprehensive vision encompassing design, graphics, narrative, and technical aspects.

• Ensure IP address is consistently reflected in the player experience.

• Provide guidance to teams on how to effectively communicate creative direction throughout production and bring your expertise to creatively solve problems and adapt to technical and production constraints.

• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure cohesive and consistent direction of play.

• Mentor and guide direct reports through regular one-on-one interactions and provide actionable feedback.

• Participate in the recruitment of new team members and assist with onboarding as needed.

• Promote a culture of open collaboration, transparency and accountability to create a healthy, inclusive and positive work environment.

This studio is based in Norwaythe role is hybrid. We provide relocation and visa support.

Previous experience in these areas would be desirable, but the studio really values ​​talent and passion above all!
