Canopy’s growth is encouraging strategic acquisitions

Canopy growth (TSE: WEED) has released an update.

Canopy Growth Corporation exercised its option to acquire Acreage Holdings, making Acreage a wholly owned subsidiary upon closing, and partially assumed Acreage’s outstanding debt. Canopy USA, a Canopy Growth business, has completed the acquisition of Jetta and two Wana Brands entities, and its purchase of Mountain High Products is pending regulatory approval. These steps are consistent with Canopy Growth’s strategy to leverage its stake in Canopy USA to drive growth and commercial synergies.
