The OnePlus Pad 2 Premium Tab may launch with the Snapdragon chip

The first OnePlus Pad was first launched in February last year, and there will be a new addition to the OnePlus lineup soon. Now, 91mobiles has spotted what appears to be a OnePlus Pad 2 in the Geekbench benchmark app. This listing provides insight into the tablet’s performance and reveals some key hardware specifications. OnePlus Pad 2 Features (Expected)

According to the Geekbench listing, the alleged OnePlus Pad 2 is said to have model number OPD2404, which is different from the original OnePlus Pad with model number OPD2203. The breakdown reveals impressive scores of 2079 in the single-core test and 6077 in the multi-core test. While the previous generation OnePlus Pad came with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, new leaks suggest that the upcoming OnePlus Pad 2 could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

This flagship Snapdragon chipset is expected to be paired with 8GB of RAM, although additional memory variants may also appear. The Oneplus Pad 2 is said to run Android 14 OS at launch. However, key details such as specifications, design, and other features are still unclear.

According to some previous leaks, the OnePlus Pad 2 will have a large 12.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, probably with an OLED panel.

The OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to be powered by a massive 9,510mAh battery, likely to support fast charging technology.

Meanwhile, a recent report states that Oppo is expected to launch a third-generation flagship Android tablet this year, which may debut outside China as the OnePlus Pad 2.

It is speculated that Oppo Pad 3 will be released worldwide under the name OnePlus Pad 2. The premiere of OnePlus Pad 2 will probably take place in the second half (2nd half) of 2024. It will probably debut not only in global markets but also in India.

A recent leak ahead of the official launch, as reported by Notebookcheck and first spotted by Mysmartprice, hints at whether the device will come with improved wired charging capabilities.
