Tata Power releases ‘Green Anthem’ campaign video promoting environmental responsibility

With the slogan “Hum hai Generation Green, Desh ka future hoga behtareen“ (We are the green generation, the future of our country will be better than ever before), Tata Power highlights the role of the younger generation in shaping India’s green future.

The anthem highlights the importance of early environmental education and highlights the contribution of initiatives such as Club Enerji, which engage children from an early age in the crucial conversation around climate awareness. The initiative, which focuses on experiential STEM education and clean energy awareness, is currently active in over 1,000 schools across India.

Tata Power is accelerating India’s green transformation and, through a range of green solutions such as rooftop solar, electric vehicle charging and smart home automation, is enabling the adoption of sustainable lifestyles in line with government initiatives such as Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE).

The company is committed to creating awareness and empowering consumers through its sustainability initiatives such as #DuniyaApneHawale and “Sustainability is achievable,” which promotes the adoption of sustainable lifestyles through eco-friendly solutions.

Celebrating World Environment Month and in line with the slogan “Our Earth. Our Future”, Tata Power also released a series of audio-visual and animated experiential films on various natural topics including air, water and wind. These films aim to introduce both children and adults to the elements of nature, reinforcing the company’s message: Embrace, Love and Switch to the development of green energy.

The campaign is also in line with Tata Group’s Tata Sustainability Month, which aims to promote action and awareness during World Environment Month.

Tata Power aims to become the most preferred and trusted green energy brand in the country. The company plans to achieve 70% of its generation capacity from clean and green energy sources by 2023 and become net carbon neutral by 2045.

The ‘Green Anthem’ reflects Tata Power’s commitment to supporting environmental stewardship and empowering the younger generation to become leaders in sustainability. Through initiatives such as Club Enerji, Tata Power continues to play a significant role in driving positive change towards a greener and more sustainable future.
