American companies NextEra and Entergy will implement solar energy with a capacity of 4.5 GW

“We are excited about this co-development agreement, which will enable Entergy to provide low-cost renewable energy to our customers as demand grows in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas,” said Rod West, group president of utility operations at Entergy.

Both companies already have 1.7 GW of renewable energy projects in development, and Entergy itself expects to add 2.9 GW of new solar capacity by 2028.
