BRUSH takes over the Scottish M&E company

Loughborough-based energy engineering solutions company BRUSH Group has acquired Rybka, a Scottish company providing mechanical and electrical construction services and sustainability consultancy.

The acquisition expands the Loughborough-based company’s service portfolio to include mechanical and electrical engineering, BIM (building information modeling), building physics, passive house design and low carbon consultancy.

It also gives BRUSH a foothold in the Scottish market, while enabling Rybka to expand in England and Wales, with support from London-based construction services consultancy Eta Projects Ltd – acquired by BRUSH in 2022 – which has extensive experience in healthcare and infrastructure critical.

Founded in Scotland in the 1990s, Rybka employs over 50 people in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. Rybka will become part of the BRUSH Engineering Solutions portfolio, operating independently with existing partners and clients.
