Consolidated tire pricing cases set for July hearing date

A newly consolidated multidistrict lawsuit accusing several tire manufacturers, including Michelin North America Inc. and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., for their involvement in the price-fixing conspiracy, is set to begin in early July.

On June 7, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation approved the consolidation of 14 cases in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, presided over by Judge Sara Lioi. The MDL case was presided over by Judge Sara Lioi. On Monday, Lioi scheduled a case management conference for July 2.
