“The Lab45 AI platform operates on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and supports a variety of state-of-the-art large language models (LLM) from leading vendors, as well as custom deep learning and other models. The platform enables seamless integration of linguistic and visual processing to generate images from text prompts, and enables content indexing, analysis and summarization,” Wipro said in a statement.

Featuring over 1,000 GenAI agents and over 10 GenAI applications, the platform offers ready-made no-code and low-code applications for HR, sales, marketing and operations functions, while enabling easy creation of industry-specific applications. GenAI agents and applications.

“Our Lab45 AI platform is a testament to Wipro’s commitment to innovation and productivity,” said Subha Tatavarti, Chief Technology Officer, Wipro. “We are excited about the transformational impact this platform will have across the company, particularly across HR, sales, marketing and other business functions. Our platform will help our customers innovate faster while balancing privacy and responsible AI.”

The platform claims to make it easier for customers to deploy GenAI in their environments with API-based access to custom applications. In fact, Topcoder, Wipro’s platform that connects customers to its two-million-strong global talent network, has been using the Lab45 AI platform’s application programming interfaces (APIs) since October 2023, which has resulted in a seven-fold increase in GenAI usage.

Moreover, over the last six months, select Wipro teams and external users have been using the platform and achieving significant time savings and productivity gains.

In human resources (HR), for example, Wipro says the platform has reduced the time it takes to read and interpret specific clauses from large, voluminous contracts to minutes or hours, enabling significant improvements in the turnaround time and accuracy of the background check process.

In sales, the platform claims to have enabled “better and faster” sales and revenue generation, forecasting, sales analysis and report generation by combining well-known LLMs combined with custom deep learning models from Lab45.

In quality engineering and testing, the latest proofs of concept (POC) for Wipro customers in banking, pharma, telecom and other industries globally have shown 20 to 30 percent improvements in test cases, test scripts and test result analyses.
