Polycab India hires Ashish Kakkar as Executive Chairman and CHRO

Polycab India recently appointed Ashish Kakkar as Executive Chairman and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Kakkar joined Polycab India in May from ICICI Home Finance, where he worked as CHRO for over 6 years. ICICI Bank, 3i Infotech, ICICI Prudential AMC and PepsiCo India Holdings are other organizations where he has worked earlier.

Kakkar is a business professional with experience in human resources management for almost thirty years. His areas of expertise include management, transformation, organization building, talent management, leadership development and operational excellence.

Kakkar holds a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Human Resource Development (PGDM – PM and HRD) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune; Master’s Degree in Labor and Social Welfare Law (MLL and LW) from Symbiosis Law College, University of Pune; and a Bachelor of Science from the Naval Academy, Goa University.
