Pasco deputies remove suspicious device in New Port Richey. Roads have reopened

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a suspicious device around 10:30 a.m. in the area of ​​Bradshaw Dr. in New Port Richey.

As a precaution, both Runnel Dr. and Bradshaw Dr. have been closed to traffic.

“PSO deputies located and removed the suspicious device. A thorough search of the area did not reveal any additional suspicious devices, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office said.

Residents were advised to avoid the area until the investigation and the scene were safe.

The area is secure and there is no known threat to public safety. Runnel Dr. and Bradshaw Dr. are now open.
