The sensor’s attached proximity electronics board supports low-power video engine functions and provides radiometric operations capabilities for accurate data collection for thermal imaging, target detection, environmental monitoring, continuous surveillance and threat detection. The Mini Blackbird 1280 HFM is equipped with a line cooler for use in harsh environments and as a payload for UAVs.
