First Sentier expands team in Asia

Australian asset management company First Sentier Investors has twice appointed its executive team for Asia.

Christy Goh has been appointed director of brokerage for Asia and general manager for Singapore.
Meanwhile, Marcus Ong has been appointed head of institutional business for Asia.

Goh will be based in Singapore and will oversee the brokerage’s operations in North and Southeast Asia.
She was promoted from her previous position as director of distribution for Southeast Asia.
Ong will lead the company’s sales teams in North and Southeast Asia and will also be based in Singapore.

Both will report to Lauren Prendiville, managing director and head of distribution for APAC.
“We believe these appointments will bring significant value through alignment and collaboration across regions, which will ultimately result in better customer service,” Prendeville said.
