Astera announced LunaBulb.

Designed like a conventional light bulb, the LED-based solution consumes 3.5 W and is available in E26, E27 and B22 fittings. It screws directly into an AC light bulb socket.

Users can adjust both white level (1750-20,000K) and color (RGB, mint and amber, with RGB, HIS, XY and filter gel color selection options). The bulb can be quickly transformed from a classic incandescent bulb – perfect for practical lighting applications – into a slim bulb that can be placed in a variety of lamps and spaces. The conversion is achieved by attaching or removing the “classic” dome over the narrow bulb using a spring clip.

Wireless control can be done via CRMX, Astera application, BTB connection or Astera White and FX remote controls. Configuration is performed using the Astera LunaBulb PrepCase, which holds up to eight bulbs. PrepCase is also available as PrepInlay, giving users the flexibility to build the insert (without a protective box) into their own setups. Because PrepCase and PrepInlay are battery-powered, the bulbs can be configured before arriving on site.
