North Eastern Railway (NER) is seeking applications for multiple Apprentice Posts for its latest recruitment 2024. Candidates interested in applying for Apprentice Posts of North Eastern Railway can do so through the official website ner.indianrailways.gov.in. This recruitment is aimed at filling 1,104 trainee vacancies in the department.

The registration process for the 2024 trainee positions in the North Eastern Railway began on June 12, 2024. Candidates can submit their application forms by July 11, 2024. The selection criteria will be based on merit calculated by averaging the matriculation percentages (minimum 50% in total). and ITI Research, each of which is given equal weight.

Candidates must have passed Class 10 with at least 50% marks and must have an ITI qualification in the specified industry by the date of notification on June 12, 2024. Further, candidates should be between 15 and 24 years of age as on June 12, 2024. For For SC/ST candidates upper limit age is extended by 5 years, while OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation. Divyang candidates are given a 10-year exemption.
