Reptiles attacked Kyustendilsko, local authorities are looking for snake hunters. In one case, smoke was noticed at a children’s playground in the village of Nikolichevtsi. According to locals, it is quite normal for reptiles to come down from the nearby moors to the village on hot summer days.

Social media is full of posts about snakes and snakes seen in city centers. For example, in Dupnitsa, a reptile was filmed crawling around the city center, in the immediate vicinity of the municipality building. According to experts, it is a completely harmless water snake, but many people are astonished by its size – reports Nova TV.

The fire brigade was called to the village of Kyustendil Nikolichevci a week ago. In the children’s playground, local mothers saw a fig tree. However, according to older villagers, this is not a terrible event at all.

Work is already underway in Kyustendil on how to keep snakes away from children. Devices should be purchased to drive them away from playgrounds. “We are in the process of contracting with a snake control company to install reptile-proof devices in playgrounds and kindergartens where protection against intrusion is extremely important.” ; – said Ognyan Atanasov, mayor of Kyustendil.

About 50 devices will be delivered. In the meantime, the commune is looking for a person who knows how to work with reptiles, but there is none yet.

“Many years ago there was a person who voluntarily got involved in this activity, but he is already at the limit of age and unfortunately he has not apparently trained any young person either, but we are in the process of looking for someone who can take care of it. Otherwise, we are currently relaying the signals to the fire brigade and we are grateful to them for their response – they have tongs to catch them and although it is not their job, we are grateful for their help. us in this activity,” Atanasov noted.

For now, there are no snake bites in Kyustendilsk.
