Amazon has reduced the price of an “amazing” garden gadget that provides hours of entertainment by giving users the chance to connect with nature.

Birdfy automatically records videos of birds and notifies you of their visit via the app, offering features like night vision and two-way audio to listen to birdsong or deter unwanted visitors. Amazon’s current deal on Netvue Birdfy makes it significantly cheaper than rival brand Bird Buddy, which costs £299.99 at John Lewis – and in fact, Birdfy beat out Bird Buddy to the top spot in the company’s review of the company’s best bird feeder TechRadar. However, if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option to start your birdwatching adventure, Amazon is also currently offering the Bozily Smart Bird Feeder Camera for £59.49 on Lightning, although it’s only received about a dozen reviews from buyers, so it’s a long way off.
