International Conference on Public Policy and Governance 2024 promises to be a significant platform for improving governance and local development in Bihar and beyond.

PATANA (CSR in India): Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), in association with Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA, will host the 2nd International Conference on Public Policy and Management (ICPPM) 2024. Scheduled on 17 and 17 This is a landmark the event will take place on June 18, 2024 on the CIMP campus. The conference will be devoted to the topic “Promoting good governance and local development in Bihar and beyond: Recent scholarship and practice.’ The forum aims to bring together leading academics, policymakers, government officials, development practitioners and civil society representatives to discuss and explore innovative strategies and best practices in local governance and development.

A platform for exchange and cooperation

The conference will be inaugurated by Fr Brajesh Mehrotra, Principal Secretary, Government of Bihar. The chief guest of the valedictory session will be Dr. S. Siddhartha, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Government of Bihar. The event aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration among participants, paving the way for better governance and development initiatives.

Memorandum of Understanding with Georgia State University

The collaboration between Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna and Georgia State University marks a milestone. The institutions have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation in various academic aspects, including teaching, research, training and student and faculty exchange programs.

Inaugural session

The conference will be formally inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Secretary of Bihar, Brajesh Mehrotra.

The session will also be attended by such distinguished speakers as: Prof. Charles Hankla from Georgia State University and Prof. Anjali Thomas from the Georgia Institute of Technology, who will share their insights on public policy and management.
