Skimming device found at Dollar Tree register in Eunice

EUNICE, Los Angeles (KLFY) – A skimming device was discovered in one of the cash registers at the Dollar Tree in Eunice.

Authorities said that on June 15 at approximately 7:12 p.m., Dollar Tree employees told Eunice police that a humming device had been found in Register 3, but they were unsure how long the device had been there.

According to EPD, anyone who has recently visited Dollar Tree and used a debit or credit card should carefully check their statements for any unauthorized transactions that appear suspicious.

EPD is investigating the issue and will review video from the store as it becomes available. Authorities said it was possible the devices were placed in the store when employees were unaware.
