(Help in Enterprise Modernization and Transformation) IPIM organized a live streaming trade workshop for enterprises to grow their business

The Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Macau Digital Inclusion Association jointly organized the “SME Modernization and Transformation Workshop – Capturing the Cross-Border E-Commerce Market through Live Streaming” on June 13. The workshops focused on cross-border e-commerce market trends, short video promotions and live streaming marketing techniques to help local businesses digitally modernize, transform and capitalize on business opportunities.

The event attracted over 50 “Macao Ideas” exhibitors and local entrepreneurs from the SME sector interested in developing cross-border business. According to some participants, the workshops are in line with market trends and are very practical, thanks to which their brands can increase their competitiveness.

Live marketing promotes local enterprise brand awareness, modernization and transformation

Live streaming trading (LSC) has expanded rapidly in recent years. To help local enterprises take advantage of new business expansion opportunities, the workshop invited two representatives of the Macau Digital Integration Association to share the latest updates and trends in the cross-border e-commerce market and analyze the advantages of LSC marketing skills, strategies and opportunities based on case studies from real life. They also shared the importance of digital marketing in promoting Made in Macao, Macao Brand and Macao Design products. The workshop ended with a lively question and answer session.

One of the participants, an exhibitor from “Macao Ideas”, dealing with the food industry, stated that live marketing was conducive to product exposure, brand image and expansion of sales channels. He believed that local SMEs should adapt to market changes and consumer needs in a timely manner and hoped to participate in more of the same type of workshops under “Ideas from Macau” in the future.
