Apple Plans to Release Much Thinner iPhone 17 in 2025: Report

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple plans to release a much thinner iPhone 17 in 2025. This may indicate a change in the Cupertino-based company’s overall design philosophy. Apple may return to its old design style with a focus on making devices thinner again.

Recently, Apple has made its devices a bit thicker. The MacBook Pro has become thicker, including larger batteries, more powerful processors and additional ports. A heavier Ultra model with more features and longer battery life has also been added to the Apple Watch. Even the iPhone has become a bit thicker to accommodate better cameras and larger batteries.

In May, Apple released the new, super-slim iPad Pro. This tablet retained the same battery life as older models, but had a better screen and a powerful M4 chip. This showed that Apple could make its devices thinner without losing important features.

The report states that Apple is currently working on a much thinner iPhone 17, which is expected to be released in 2025. Apple also wants to slim down the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch. If these reports turn out to be true, the new iPad Pro will be just the beginning of a line of ultra-thin and light Apple products that are expected to be the thinnest in the technology industry.

As for the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple is expected to make some significant changes by introducing a larger display on the Pro models. The iPhone Pro Max is expected to have a 6.7-inch display and change to 6.9-inch. On the other hand, the smaller iPhone Pro model may have a 6.3-inch display instead of the 6.1-inch display on the current iPhone 15 Pro.

Additionally, we can expect improvements to the camera, especially the ultra-wide angle on the Pro models. Apple is expected to increase the resolution to 48MP from the current 12MP.
